Before we begin, The Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act requires that we inform you that the efficacy of CBD oil products has not been confirmed by FDA-approved research as a treatment for any medical condition. The information in this document is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
This post contains information about CBD oil. It is not intended to provide medical advice.
It’s important that the reader seek the advice of a qualified medical professional who is well versed in CBD education before beginning use.
And with that, let’s get started.
CBD is Cannabiodiol —a naturally occurring compound in the hemp plant. Phytocannabinoids refers to the whole family of compounds in the plant. Full-spectrum hemp oil contains dozens of cannabinoids. The most abundant cannabinoid found in hemp oil is cannabidiol (CBD), a non-psychoactive compound. Shar Organics is full-spectrum and not only the more common CBD isolate products or products from industrialized hemp.
You might hear the term PCR more recently. And you will see it on our site or in our blog. It stands for phytocannabinoid-rich. CBD is one cannabinoid compound found in the cannabis plant. However, there are other properties, phytocannabinoids, terpenes as well as flavonoids found in our organic hemp oil —this is why it is called phytocannabinoid-rich (PCR) hemp oil. By saying PCR, we are including the full spectrum of hemp compounds found in our products.
